Palm is looking for a few good people to review their phones. I was a Palm Treo 700wx user a few years ago and eventually migrated to other devices as my needs changed. But I’m very excited to see that Palm is asking for user feedback. Palm needs a huge win with a phone in order to regain their reign as a leader in the smartphone market. I’d love to help out and provide candid feedback and you should as well. Helping advance smartphones will make our mobile experiences so much better for years to come.
If you’re truly interested, over 18 and live in the US, head on over to Palm’s site to sign-up to become eligible for their feedback program. More info here.
I still think my Treo with Palm OS (can’t say the same for the Windows Mobile version) was the most intuitive smart phone I’ve ever owned. I’m excited to see what the Palm Pre will be like, but I doubt if I will have one as it looks like it’s aimed more at challenging the iPhone in the consumer market. Might end up being something I look at to replace my wife’s 1G iPhone once it finally and inevitably craps out.
There’s obviously great expectations as PALM is up to almost $11 from $3,33 in January when the phone was announced. If this thing is popular it could be a great 1-1.5 year trade still, similar to buying Nintendo after the Wii launched before Christmas 2 years ago.
