Airport Security

The New York Times has a great article on today’s airport security.  Here’s a link to the online version.

Flying private is so much better

While waiting to get on the 777, I saw a Bombardier Global Express cross the field.  So I snagged a picture while waiting.  Private is the way to travel.  Such a cool aircraft.

Air Canada First Class

Just got back to Houston from a trip up to Montreal. I was fortunate enough to travel in one of Air Canada’s new Boeing 777 (one of less than four at the moment). I was riding up front in the new interior. Spacious, mood lighting was nice, seats are on par with the industry. Although, taking off sitting sideways was a little uncomfortable being pushed up against the hard plastic side.

Here are some shots are I boarded the plane.

Delayed Flight

Sitting back in the Houston airport waiting on another flight.  It seems that as of late I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time in the airport and less time at the office.  Which I don’t mind.  It just seems that more often than not my flights are delayed.

Today it is Air Canada.  Last week it was Continental and prior to that United.  So out of my last 3 flights, all three have been delayed.  I guess it is just something we need to get used to.  I’m thankful this time that I’ve found a power outlet and I have my EVDO card with me.  Makes the time go by a little quicker.
