Canadian dollar – damn!

The Canadian dollar is on a run.  The highest it has been against the US dollar in 30 years.  Just 6 cents difference on the dollar.  Will we be par near the end of the year?  The Seattle Times has a nice write-up.

Awesome hockey game last night

Last nights hockey game between Ottawa and Anaheim was amazing.  Fast, action packed game.  Ducks are leading 2-1.  Next game is in Ottawa on Monday night.  Home ice advantage for the Senators.  Love this time of year!

FeedDemon 2.5 is in the wild

Nick Bradbury and I have never had the opportunity to meet in person.  However, I hope that we cross paths at some point in the future.  His software is so user centric, one step ahead and rock solid.  I’ve been a FeedDemon user for years and Nick just released a new version of his incredible RSS software (FeedDemon 2.5).
If you read RSS feeds all the time or you’re just a casual RSS user, you need FeedDemon.  It blows everything else out of the water.  He stills rocks a 30 day trial, so give it a shot.  I am in no way compensated by Nick–I am simply a passionate user.

Bob Morris / NY Times & Entitlement

“Now, in the age of elite access, private prison cells and select banking, when being a millionaire is small time, and being gifted and talented is as common as having a blog, a book deal or a career from a reality-show stint, nobody wants the back of the plane, end of the line, middle of the class, or anything other than the V.I.P. lounge.”

Read Bob Morris’ article. Really great stuff.

Montreal Beer Festival

I was out last night with a bunch of good friends to hang out at The Montreal Beer Festival. It goes for about a week and attracts people from all over the world. We had a great time last night–with about 5,000+ other people. Tickets were a little expensive but worth it. If you’re in Montreal this week, be sure to drop by the Bell Centre / Windsor Station.
